Kellie M. Martin is an American TV and film actress. Her most well-known role is for her roles as Christy Huddleston, Rebecca Thatcher and Lucy Knight on the series ER. She is also known for appearing in the titular role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Born to a department-store buyer and a kindergarten teacher, Martin was able to begin her career in acting at the young age of seven, when her aunt who was an nanny to Michael Landon's children, assisted her in landing her a role in the series of 1982 "Father Murphy". In the years following after her Yale University graduation, she focused on acting. She was able to secure significant roles on both cinema and television. Martin has also been as a dancer and photographer. Martin is the mother of two children and is the face of Lupus. Since her 19 year old sister's passing Martin has been working to educate people about the disease.
